The Old Joiners Shop was the family’s joiners’ workshop for many years, finally being converted to a cottage in 1999. There are pictures in the Nidderdale Museum showing carts being repaired at the workshop. There is easy access with off-road parking in front of the cottage. The cottage has a spacious feel throughout with a fully fitted modern kitchen, large beamed dining room and lounge with multi-fuel stove. The conservatory features marvellous views down the valley and leads to a small paved area with a table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining.
The main house bathroom, with shower over the bath, basin and toilet is on the first floor. Along with a twin/double room with far reaching views and the master bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom with large shower and features a view of the village. The spacious attic twin/double room features Velux windows, giving you breath-taking views of the dales by day, and a perfect stargazing opportunity at night. With TV’s in the lounge area and each of the 3 bedrooms, families can spread out and watch channels of their choice.
